Our company began in 2003 when Garry Crosbie, a self- employed engineer, and his wife Heather began building and growing their business.
Today, we have over 30 years’ experience in the industry, and have grown to have a skilled team of 6 engineers, 2 of which are proud to be our training apprentices.

At Mangawhai Engineering and Marine we specialise in a wide range of Engineering Services from small welding repairs to large commercial and residential structural steel projects, offering convenient onsite welding and steel installation featuring the use of our HI-AB Trucks.
Our senior engineers are experienced in welding all types of materials including stainless and aluminium fabrication, e.g. handrails, aluminium boat repairs, marine welding services and stainless steel creative works.
Most importantly – our HIAB trucks are available to lift and relocate containers, cabins or carry heavy materials or machinery wherever you require
